What can I say except another amazing day. I didn’t go out of the house until 10:30 am, because I was helping Mom decorate the Megan House. The Germans left this morning, so we transferred Mom and Dad’s stuff over to the guest house.
I spent so much time with the children when I came out. I took many pictures and videos with them, but it will never be the same as the real-time moment. We went over to the primary school and they had me read a book in Kiswahili to them. The primary boys asked me to play Kenyan football with them and I’m so glad I said yes!! Much laughter and a skinned knee proved that we had an amazing time!😂
At 12:30pm I went over to the secondary side and sat with one of the assistant teachers and students while they worked on revisions. The girls were about to start a game of football and asked me if I wanted to play. Of course, I said yes, and I ran to put my uniform on! After the football game, I played volleyball and had so much fun!!
As the evening approached, I passed out gifts from the sponsors. Mom and Dad brought cake back from town for Mjomba Peter’s 56th birthday. I got to give him his Thomson Chain Study Bible and I think he appreciated it. 😁
Today was the halfway mark of the Kenya portion of the trip.😢 I don’t want to leave!!
