Held by a Love That Never Lets Go

There’s a promise in Romans 8 that speaks right into the middle of our battles, questions, and fears.

“If God is for us, who can be against us?”

That’s not just a pretty verse to hang on a wall, it’s a life-changing truth. The God who shaped stars and stitched every cell of your being is not distant. He is with you, for you, and fighting on your behalf—even when you can’t feel it.

This doesn’t mean you’ll never face storms. Life can be hard. Grief is real. Some days feel like survival. But in the middle of it all, God doesn’t just call you a fighter.

He calls you more than a conqueror.

That means what you’ve walked through hasn’t defeated you—it’s shaped you. You’re not defined by what hurt you. You’re defined by the One who loves you, heals you, and walks with you every step of the way. He redeems what was meant to destroy you. He brings purpose from the pain.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life,
neither angels nor demons,
neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
neither height nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

(Romans 8:38–39)

Nothing in creation can pull you from His love.

No failure.
No diagnosis.
No rejection.
No anxiety.
No sin too big, no scar too deep.

But there’s one thing not on that list: you.

God will never stop loving you—but He will never force you to stay.
You are the only one who can choose to turn away.

He offers His love freely, constantly, patiently. He stands with arms open wide, even when we run. But He doesn’t chain us to Him—because real love doesn’t manipulate. It invites. It waits. It longs for your return.

And if you’ve wandered, hear this clearly: it is never too late to turn back.
The love of God hasn’t changed.
He still wants you.
He still chooses you.
He still calls you His.

Being more than a conqueror isn’t about being strong all the time—it’s about staying close to the One who is.
It’s about receiving a love that never gives up, never runs dry, never lets go… unless we walk away.

But even then—He’ll still be right there, waiting. Watching the horizon. Ready to run toward you the moment you turn around.

So today, wherever you are—whether you’re standing tall or barely crawling, remember:
You are loved.
You are not disqualified.
You are not too far gone.
You are not alone.

You are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you.
Not because of your strength—but because of His.
Not because you always get it right—but because His love never fails.

Let that love carry you.
Let it steady you.
And don’t walk away from the One who would never walk away from you.

You are held.
You are wanted.
You are more than a conqueror.
And the love of God is still calling your name.

This was a scheduled blog post.
I am in Tanzania currently with Chocolate University and I would truly appreciate if you would say a prayer for me. Physically, that God would give me strength, and I really want to reflect Jesus only. In my words, in my actions, in all I do. I love you all so much. Thank you and God bless!
