When Heaven Meets the Heart

This week has been one of those weeks where heaven feels near, and yet, the battle feels fierce. I’ve spent so much time in prayer, just drawing closer to the heart of God, and I’ve realized something so true. When we start leaning in deeper to Christ, the enemy starts fighting harder. It’s almost as if the closer we get to the light, the more the darkness wants to pull us back.

But through it all… God has been here.

He’s been whispering peace into the chaos, reminding me that everything — absolutely everything — is in His hands. There’s not one thing He overlooks. Not one moment of pain that slips past His care. He sees every tear. He hears every quiet prayer. And He answers in His own perfect, gentle way.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the noise of life that we forget what it feels like to truly listen to Him. But when we slow down… when we open those lines of communication and start seeking His will above our own… that’s where peace begins.

Today, I felt that peace in a way I can’t even explain. Jesus met me. So sweetly, so personally. I sat there, and He gave me songs. Words. Comfort. It felt like heaven wrapped itself around my weary heart. That’s what His presence does. It doesn’t always take away the storm, but it gives you peace in the storm. The kind of peace that passes all understanding.

And that’s who He is — the Prince of Peace.
He doesn’t just offer peace… He is peace. When the world spins fast and your heart feels like it’s breaking apart, He steps in, not with loud answers, but with stillness. With assurance. With the soft, steady reminder that you are safe in His arms. The Prince of Peace doesn’t promise a life without trials, but He promises His presence through them. And that changes everything.

Friend, if you’re reading this and life feels confusing or heavy, you are not alone. The world feels upside down sometimes. But let me remind you that you are held. You are so deeply loved by the Father who made you. The same God who spoke galaxies into motion is the One who holds your trembling hands through the dark nights.

When we serve Him with all we have, we don’t have to fear what’s coming. Because we are in the palm of His hand. Safe, seen, and surrounded. And when the fiery trials come (and they will), He doesn’t step away. He steps closer.

Rest in the truth that the Prince of Peace hasn’t forgotten you. He’s standing right beside you, even now, whispering, “Peace, be still.”

Much love and many prayers,
Vanessa
