Monday, mom and dad went to Kisii to do a PCB distribution. I was not feeling well, so I stayed at Huruma. Throughout the morning and afternoon, I went out and spent time with my friends. That night, I hung out with some of them, and we were going through old pictures. Matthew was utterly shocked at some of the photos and was quite ready to update them!
Tuesday was simply a dream come true. I met Vanessa Imari. She was born on November 8th, 2024, to Bro. Elphas and his wife. We went to their house from Huruma on very rough roads, but with beautiful scenery. They have five children: three girls and two boys. It was so lovely to meet Vanessa. She is so adorable, and I love her dearly. I was so relieved that the dresses I brought for her did, in fact, fit! When we returned to Huruma, I took portraits of a lot of the students on the list who were there. I spent more time with my boys, and it is so bittersweet seeing how much they have grown up. I am so proud of them. That night, I video-called a couple of people, and a few of the children quite enjoyed that. Mom and I went over to the tabernacle late at night, and they were setting up for the Christmas celebration the next day. We blew up balloons, played games, and sang random songs. I had so much peace, and I was full of thankfulness. God is so, so good.
