God’s Presence in the Unchanged Season

Sometimes we really believe things are about to change. We pray, we watch, and we start to think God is finally turning the situation around. I was praying a lot about something, and I had so much faith that things were about to change. I thought I could see it starting to shift. But it didn’t. What I hoped for didn’t happen.

After that, I kept thinking about the verse where God was a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night for His people. He never left them. Even when they were in the wilderness and didn’t understand what He was doing, His presence was still there the whole time.

It was a reminder that just because something doesn’t turn out the way I expected doesn’t mean God isn’t working. It doesn’t mean I heard Him wrong or that He stepped away. His presence doesn’t depend on things going the way I hoped. He is still leading, even when I don’t see how.

I’m trying to learn what God has for me in this season. Not every prayer gets answered in the way I want, and not every situation changes when I think it should. But God is still faithful in the middle of it. He is still taking care of me, and He still has a plan, even when I don’t understand it yet. I am forever grateful for the people He has and is continuing to put into my life to help encourage me along the way. God is good, and He has a plan.

Much love & many prayers,
Vanessa
