Grace and Comfort of God

“God’s grace is the strength that sustains us in our weakness and the comfort that lifts us in our pain.”

God’s presence has been so dear and close to me this past week and I am so grateful. As it nears eleven months of being sick, I needed that encouragement. I may not know why, but I do know that God has a plan and healing does not determine His love. God is good all the time, and He has been showing that to me and He has been visiting me daily and proving Himself to me. I know that He hears, and I will keep on asking and seeking. Nonetheless, He has not been hidden from me, and He has been meeting me in the long, tearful nights. I am so extremely thankful for God’s sustaining grace and His healing comfort.

I encourage you, no matter what you are going through, our sweet Jesus can meet you where you are. He can minister to you not just in the big moments, but in the mundane and in the most difficult times. He has grace and comfort for you whether you’re on the mountain top or deep in the pit of the valley. He can lift you up… just reach out to our precious Father who cares so deeply for you.

Much love, Vanessa

    Dear Vanessa,

What a beautiful description of God’s love!! I think often of the song #78 ELS.
Chorus “ Other friends may bless and comfort, Speak a kind and cheering word, but The bomb to heal the heart ache, Only Jesus can afford.”

I’m so sorry Vanessa that you are hurting but I love that God’s grace is always there when we need it! When we don’t understand, that’s where we learn to trust.

You have a lot of prayers going up in your behalf Vanessa all around the world mentioning your name before God’s throne every day/night.

    Don’t lose heart… ❤️ Love ya!
