We are en route to Tanzania and I am writing this from the ‘internet room’ in an airport lounge! We were supposed to be arriving about now to the small town we are staying in, but we were significantly delayed in Springfield, which led to us missing our international flight from Dallas to Doha, Qatar. We stayed the night in Dallas, and took a 14 hour flight and are now in Doha. My heart is very happy because there are many, many Swahili speakers who work in the airport here and we have had many conversations!

We will spend the night in the airport and leave in the morning. It will be an 8 hour flight to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and then we will take a short domestic flight. Following that, we will take a bus for a few hours to get to our place of stay. Our trip may be extended a few days to the 19th. I really did not want to miss any of Monark, but I trust God’s will to be done.

I am so grateful to God that He saw fit to make me well for this trip. He is SO good. I love you all and I am praying for you! God bless!
